Today we’ve received the official synopsis and new screenshots for the upcoming Void & Meddler. This is the first game published by Mi-Clos Studio and is being developed by the independent French studio, NO CVT.

In case you’ve missed our previous coverage or our interview with the creator, Void & Meddler is an episodic cyberpunk point & click where player’s choices will lead them into the dark corners of an unreal city.

Fragments and details, rainy nights and blurry lights are all Void&Meddler focuses on. A one night intrusion into Fyn’s life and hopes. Tired of her last two years spent wandering without goal, without memories, among disillusioned strangers, and pitiless scavengers, our main character decided to put an end to all of this. She’ll have few hours to put things right, to seek strong, pure and substantial memories, in a city where genders and species melt into each other, maybe she’ll find back the touch of humanity that has been missing for a while in her life.

  • A 3 episodes non-linear point&click adventure.
  • A dark, poetic and cyberpunk universe.
  • Puzzles can be resolved in several ways.
  • Surreal atmosphere inspired by Philip.K.Dick, William Gibson, David Cronenberg, Shinya Tsukamoto and Gregg Araki.
  • Memorable soundtrack
  • Unique art style oscillating between pixel art and comics book by Black Muffin.

The Season Pass is already available in pre-order on the official website at a special price.

The first episode is due to release on October 2015 on Steam (Windows/Mac). They’re also planning on releasing Void & Meddler on mobile devices.

NO CVT is a team composed by Dorian SRED and Trevor, two musicians from the Analog electronic/synthwave scene who became video game developers to explore new fields of creativity.

Black Muffin, two graphic designers who recently won the VRJam first prize organized by Oculus, has joined them to give a proper visual identity to the game, oscillating between pixel art and comics book.
