Publishing company BadLand Indie continues to expand with the addition of Zenith by Infinigon Games and Song of Horror by Protocol Games. BadLand Indie will be digitally launching Zenith to PC, PS4, and Xbox One and Song of Horror is planned for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
Zenith is an action RPG that combines that feel of the golden era RPG games with a generous dose of humor and parody. The game counts with a solid story which unfolds in a fantasy world populated by dozens of unorthodox characters.
Adventuring, exploring ruins, accidentally unleashing the apocalypse, saving the world… you’ve done it all, and so has Argus. And, frankly, he’s a bit fed up with the whole thing. He used to be a wizard, which was fine and all, but he’s on his 30s now, and he wants to settle down, get some peace and quiet. But that’s not easy to get with all those spike-haired buffoons dragging their giant swords around and ruining the pavement. Specially when you’re trying to keep a dangerous artifact hidden from meddling heroes with a chosen one complex.
Developed by Infinigon Games, they’re a team of professionals with more than 30 years of experience in video games and a common goal: to create video games that get the traditional spirit back and give the user the opportunity to enjoy an old style RPG coated with a quite particular sense of humor.
Song of Horror is an old-school inspired, third person survival horror, evocative of the eternal fear of what cannot be understood. Take control of up to 16 characters who have been dragged, throughout time, into a story for which they are not prepared.
Developed by Protocol Games, they’re a Madrid-based studio created in October 2014 by Ignacio F. Herrero and Carlos G. F. Grupeli, two friends who dreamt of making memorable games that made others feel the way they felt playing classic video games. The team was joined in 2015 by David Navarro Campos, character modeling, illustrator and animator and Manuel López Ibáñez, composer and sound specialist.
