Mariachi Games Reveals The Entire Vconcert 2015 Line-up

Mariachi Games is proud to announce the entire

VCONCERT 2015 line-up featuring renowned composer of Kingdom Hearts and Street Fighter II, Yoko Shimomura, who will be joined by top acts in the game music cover band scene including The OneUps (who will perform a special tribute to late Nintendo President and CEO, Satoru Iwata), Metroid Metal, and Royal Corneria Airforce.

The fourth annual VCONCERT event is sponsored by Spotify and will take place in Mexico City, Mexico at the Plaza Condesa on November 28, 2015 where tickets are still available.

VCONCERT is the definitive game music event in Mexico, and acts as the closing event to an annual two-week festival celebrating videogames in Mexico with a dedicated awards ceremony and more.

Past VCON performers including Akira Yamaoka (Silent Hill), Manami Matsumae (Mega Man), Michiru Yamane (Castlevania: Symphony of the Night), Jake “virt” Kaufman (Shovel Knight), Jim Guthrie (Superbrothers: Swords & Sworcery EP), and several returning acts including The OneUps and Metroid Metal.

VCONCERT 2015 is all about celebrating the classics. We have the 25th anniversary of Star Fox, the 30th anniversary of Metroid and the 25th Anniversary of Street Fighter II, so the biggest worldwide party celebrating these awesome games will be starting right here at VCONCERT 2015.”

In addition to several hours of live musical performances, those who attend the event in Mexico City, Mexico, will also enjoy the V-Coin Arcade Gallery featuring custom arcade cabinet artwork and a long list of fighting games to enjoy.

VCONCERT was started in 2012 by passionate gamers and game music fans Mariano Latapi di Carlo and Poulette Roel through their videogame promotion agency, Mariachi Games, and is celebrating its fourth year with its 2015 performance set to take place in Mexico City, Mexico on November 28, 2015.
