Sierra has released King’s Quest- Chapter 2: Rubble Without a Cause, the second chapter in the critically acclaimed reimagining of one of adventure gaming’s most treasured franchises. After recounting the story of his first days in Daventry, an aging King Graham tells his granddaughter, Gwendolyn, about his first test as ruler of the kingdom. This time, a mischievous horde of goblins has imprisoned the people of Daventry and a still inexperienced Graham must confront difficult choices and even harder consequences to save his friends.

Last week, OtherSide posted a teaser website with cryptic lettering hinting at a new game. Internet hackers quickly cracked the site, prematurely revealing the game’s title. As part of the fun, series’ AI antagonist SHODAN appeared to mock the hackers with new taunts each day.

Today, Ubisoft released a brand new VR project from the team at Ubisoft Montpellier to mark the release of the Jack The Ripper DLC for Assassin’s Creed Syndicate.
Featuring the infamous namesake of the DLC, the trailer takes you through the gritty streets of Victorian London and plunges viewers into Jack’s grisly world. This trailer is currently available in its full VR form for the Samsung Gear VR platform, but if don’t have that hardware and still want to get a taste of the experience, you can view it through YouTube and Facebook’s 360 video player.

Lara Croft GO, Square Enix Montreal’s critically acclaimed successor to Hitman GO, has been named Game of the Year by the App Store for 2015.
The turn-based puzzle adventure casts players as the iconic Lara Croft as she explores the ancient ruins of a long forgotten civilization. Independent video game developer and publisher, Psyonix, announced today that its popular ‘soccer-meets-driving’ hit, Rocket League, will officially arrive on Xbox One in February 2016 via the ID@Xbox self-publishing program. Fully optimized the Xbox One version of Rocket League will contain all the same features, upgrades, and content found in the PlayStation 4 and Steam versions, plus several significant additions — including two Xbox One-exclusive Battle-Cars, the Halo “HogSticker,” an alternate version of the famous Warthog Force Application Vehicle, and the Gears of War “Armadillo,” an Armored Personnel Carrier.

From the comfort of their homes, players will travel to photorealistic recreations of numerous areas in Chernobyl and Pripyat, where they’ll explore the Restricted Zone, seek clues about past events and help an old survivor find his family memories.
