Written by Stay Awhile and Listen author David L. Craddock, Dungeon Hacks whisks readers back in time to the computer labs where seminal roguelike role-playing games (RPGs) such as Rogue and Moria originated. Roguelikes are beloved among their fans, who tout grueling difficulty, a wide breadth of character types, and procedural algorithms that generate brand new levels every time players begin a new quest as defining characteristics of the genre.

Ubisoft’s The Division and Rainbow 6 Delayed to 2016

I will say it again 2015 is continuing to prove that AAA games are being announced too early. We have already seen Uncharted 4 & Quantum Break pushed to next year. Now we have two more to add to the list.

EARTHLOCK: Festival of Magic, Dynamic Fantasy RPG That’s Full Of Surprises

In all honesty, I’m not the biggest fan of the RPG genre. More often than not, the play styles and overall gaming experiences tend to feel exactly the same without much variation between them. with that being said, based on everything I’ve seen and heard, this doesn’t look like it’ll fall in line with all the others. EARTHLOCK: Festival of Magic has built up a beautiful world in which to set the game, while developing a dynamic team of heroes that you ultimately come to rely on as a team. One of the best features of the game is the way the team is comes together to pair up their attacks to unleash killer combos, even better… your enemies can do the same.

And remember If you’re unwilling to change it up and keep your enemy on their toes with an varied style of attack, they’ll learn from your stagnant style of play and will evolve their own style to take you out!
