It’s no secret that I’m a self proclaimed horror fiend, so it shouldn’t come as a shock that I’m thrilled by the prospect of Friday The 13th: The Game becoming a reality.
However in order for the nightmare of every camp counselor to rise from the depths of Camp Crystal Lake, Gun Media is relying on the fans to #UnleashJason on Kickstarter. The campaign has been live for 11 days, however thanks to the 7,592 backers and all of the fans that have been keeping the conversation alive, they’ve managed to break the $500,000 barrier bringing the team one step closer to their $700,000 baseline goal.
Hitting the $500K mark not only means that the team is one step closer to making Friday The 13th: The Game a reality, its also the threshold in which Gun media was going to reveal the first batch of their stretch goals.
And they delivered… Continue reading Friday The 13th: The Game Breaks The $500K Barrier, Revealing Their First Wave Of Stretch Goals

My love affair with the N Series began in 2008 with the release of N+, which was the second game in the series. However I have to be honest, N+ wasn’t even on my radar as being a game I needed or wanted to play. Based on what I’d seen at the time, it looked to be far too simple and I couldn’t see the value contained within it.
And then I downloaded the demo. By the time I’d beaten all of the levels within it, I knew I needed to buy it. With that being said, could N++ possibly live up the the high expectations that I approached it with?
Just in case you’re unfamiliar with N++, take a moment to familiarize yourself before continuing.

Last week we highlighted the exclusive story missions that you’re able to receive when you pre-order Batman: Arkham Knight, we got our first look at the Harley Quinn gameplay trailer and the teaser trailer for the Red Hood.
Earlier this morning GameStop revealed an extended gameplay trailer for the Red Hood Story Pack, of course this pre-order bonus is exclusive to GameStop. This was the reason I chose to pre-order Batman: Arkham Knight at GameStop, instead of with another retailer. Sight unseen, I knew this was going to be a pre-order bonus I couldn’t pass up.

Ever since I was a kid, I’ve always had a bit of a sift spot for the Friday The 13th series. As much as I enjoyed the campy greatness that was the original Friday The 13th, it wasn’t until the ending that I realized how great it really was.

As a fan of the horror genre, I’ve loved slasher movies ever since I was a kid. I can still remember watching Tobe Hooper’s The Texas Chain Saw Massacre for the first time, it absolutely blew my mind. I don’t remember how or why I managed to watch it as young as I did, but it opened a door I wasn’t ever going to close…
