In Kôna: Day One, private detective Carl Faubert arrives in an eerie Northern Canadian town to investigate cases of vandalism reported by W. Hamilton, a rich industrialist known to have disagreements with the local Cree community. But an unexpected blizzard is ravaging the area, and Faubert’s client seems to have missed their rendezvous. After a decade of rigorously studying horror and mystery game design, independent studio Robot Invader is excited to announce the release of its first game in the genre: Dead Secret. Designed specifically for VR yet firmly connected to its console roots, the game will launch in January on Steam, PS4, and PS3 and later in 2016 on Oculus Rift and Playstation VR. Designed for console and VR, Dead Secret is a mystery thriller in which you play as an ambitious journalist on a mission to make headlines. To get the story you’ll have to comb the crime scene for clues and decipher the mystery of Bullard’s twisted past. Funcom announced today that its first-person psychological horror experience ‘The Park‘ will be released for the Windows PC on October 27th this year. ‘The Park‘ is set in an amusement park where a dark and sinister secret is just waiting to be uncovered.Starting today, the game will be available for pre-order on Steam, GamersGate and Green Man Gaming for the promotional price of 9.99 USD.

‘The Park’ is a fully standalone single-player game set within ‘The Secret World‘ universe – Funcom’s modern-day myths and mysteries massively multiplayer online game. As a special treat for players of ‘The Secret World‘, purchase of ‘The Park‘ will include several unique items that can be used in the MMO, including the terrifying Chipmunk Killer costume shown in the key art image for ‘The Park‘.

Watch This Saturday As Techland Livestreams Dying Light: The Following

Tune in to Twitch on Saturday, August 22nd, for a live-stream of Dying Light: The Following, an upcoming expansion pack for Dying Light from Techland.

The stream starts Saturday at 10AM PDT (6PM CET) and will be hosted by members of the Dying Light team: Maciej Binkowski and Pawel Modlinski. The duo will be showcasing new features and the new map coming in the expansion pack. Viewers will be taken along a quest chain introducing them to the new storyline, featuring Kyle Crane and rumors of a mysterious cult.
