The best thing about classics is that they never go out of style, which is why SEGA of America is bringing nine classic SEGA games to the Nintendo 3DS system as part of the SEGA 3D Classics Collection. The best part, four of the nine classics are games that have never been previously released on the 3DS.
For all of the included classics, developer M2 painstakingly recreated the experiences by breaking down the original games and powering them up with new visuals, game modes, and more to take full advantage of the Nintendo 3DS system.
The SEGA 3D Classics Collection will be available in stores & digitally exclusively in the Americas for $29.99/CA$44.99 on April 26, 2016.

SteamWorld Heist launches on the Nintendo 3DS in the Americas, Europe, Australia and New Zealand on December 10, while the Japanese version and other platforms will come at a later date, regularly priced at $19.99 / €19.99 / £14.99.
However, it’s the holidays, Image & Form is throwing in a launch discount as a Christmas present to the marvellous Nintendo 3DS community. From launch until December 31, the price will be $16.99 / €16.99 / £11.99. I wouldn’t recommend letting this price slip through your fingers, priced at $19.99 SteamWorld Heist is already going to be a steal.
The robots are out of the box, as you might have seen in the Nintendo Direct, SteamWorld Heist is slated for release in December. Not many non-Nintendo studios get to present their games in a Direct, so you can imagine Image & Form is just thrilled about it. Seems like Nintendo thinks they have a winner with SteamWorld Heist. This next one goes out to all the shield-carrying, plate-wearing, unsung heroes in all of RPG-dom. Sure, they may mitigate tons of lethal monster damage and keep the rest of your party safe with guard abilities, but at the end of the day, holding a shield just never gets the same respect as those flashy magic spells or the glint of cold steel as it hacks monsters in twain.
